Schedules and Availability

Set the hours when people can book you, then assign the right schedule to each booking link.

Dlopo calculates available start times from the schedule assigned to a booking link. It also applies the link’s duration, booking limits, buffers, and existing Dlopo bookings before showing times to guests.

How availability works

A schedule contains:

  • A Time Zone, which defines how its hours are interpreted.
  • Weekly Hours, which repeat each week.
  • Date Overrides, which replace the weekly hours on specific dates.
  • A Default Schedule setting, which makes that schedule the initial choice for new booking links.

A booking link uses one selected schedule. Editing a schedule updates availability for every link that uses it.

Create or edit a schedule

  1. Open Schedules.
  2. Create a schedule, or select an existing one.
  3. Choose the schedule’s Time Zone.
  4. Set your repeating hours under Weekly Hours.
  5. Add one-off changes under Date Overrides when needed.
  6. Save your changes.

You can add more than one time range to a day. For example, use 09:00–12:00 and 13:00–17:00 to leave a lunch break. Mark a day unavailable when you do not want to accept bookings on that weekday.

Assign a schedule to a booking link

  1. Open the booking link.
  2. Open Scheduling.
  3. Find Availability.
  4. Choose the schedule in Schedule.
  5. Save the booking link.

The schedule defines the possible working windows. The booking link then narrows those windows using its own settings:

  • The meeting duration must fit completely inside an available range.
  • Minimum Notice removes times that are too close to the current time.
  • Booking Window limits how far into the future guests can book.
  • Bookings Per Day can remove a whole date after its limit is reached.
  • Buffer Before and Buffer After prevent new times from sitting too close to existing Dlopo bookings.
  • Existing Dlopo bookings and capacity limits remove conflicting times.

Important behavior

A date override replaces the weekly hours for that date; it does not add to them. If Tuesday is normally available but an override marks a particular Tuesday unavailable, no times appear that day. If the override contains special hours, only those hours are used.

Connecting Google Calendar does not currently make Google busy events part of availability calculations. Busy events outside Dlopo will not automatically remove booking times. Use schedules, date overrides, and Dlopo bookings to control what guests can select.
