About This Resource

Assistant Booking

The booking assistant lets guests describe when they want to meet in conversational language. It uses the booking link’s real availability and carries the guest through time selection, required details, and booking confirmation.

Requirements

Published assistant booking requires Pro. The current Pro plan includes a monthly assistant-message allowance. The booking link must be active and publicly available.

The assistant uses the same schedule, duration, buffers, notice, booking window, existing bookings, and required questions as the standard booking flow. It does not create extra availability or bypass validation.

How Guests Start

The public booking page includes an assistant composer at the bottom of the booking interface. A guest can enter a request such as:

  • “Do you have anything next Tuesday afternoon?”
  • “Show me the earliest time this week.”
  • “I need a morning appointment.”
  • “What times are available next week?”

The assistant can also present suggested prompts and quick-reply chips.

How the Assistant Finds Times

The assistant interprets the guest’s date, range, time-of-day, and ordering preferences. It searches the booking link’s available slots and returns matching suggestions.

Suggestions use the booking page’s displayed time zone. Guests should still review the final date and time before confirming.

If the request is too broad or ambiguous, the assistant can ask a follow-up question or show a wider set of available days.

Complete a Booking

  1. The guest asks for a suitable time.
  2. The assistant returns available dates or times.
  3. The guest selects a suggestion.
  4. The standard details form collects name, email, and enabled questions.
  5. Dlopo validates the slot again.
  6. The booking is created with the same status and integrations as a standard booking.

The assistant conversation remains available while the guest completes the details step. A slot can become unavailable before submission, so final server validation still applies.

What the Assistant Cannot Override

The assistant cannot:

  • Offer time outside the assigned schedule.
  • Ignore buffers, notice, booking windows, or daily limits.
  • Skip required guest fields.
  • Bypass payment, approval, application, capacity, or plan rules.
  • Create a Google Meet link without the required Google Calendar connection.

Usage Limits and Availability

Each assistant message consumes the workspace’s current monthly allowance. When the quota is reached, assistant messages stop until the allowance resets or the plan changes. Guests can still use the standard booking interface when it is available.

If assistant interpretation is temporarily unavailable, Dlopo can fall back to supported booking guidance or ask the guest to use the visible calendar.

The visible calendar remains the clearest fallback for a guest who prefers manual selection. Leaving assistant results returns the guest to the standard date and time interface without changing the booking link’s underlying availability.

Privacy and Instructions

Do not encourage guests to enter passwords, payment-card details, authentication codes, or confidential credentials into the assistant. Use booking questions for necessary meeting context.
