Offer Paid Bookings
Dlopo currently lets Pro users mark a booking link as requiring payment when Stripe is connected. However, the current guest flow does not launch a Stripe checkout or collect a charge. Do not use this setting as a production payment-collection workflow yet.
Current Availability
The underlying booking flow includes a payment step and a Pending payment booking status. Enabling the payment requirement also requires a connected Stripe integration.
The current payment step only tells the guest that payment is required. Continuing creates the booking with Pending payment status. No amount or currency is configured on the booking link, and no guest payment is processed from that page.
Because payment collection is incomplete, there is no supported end-to-end setup procedure for offering paid bookings in the current app.
What Hosts Should Expect
A payment-required submission can create a booking record that is not confirmed. The record remains pending payment, and Dlopo does not automatically convert it to confirmed through a guest checkout.
Do not treat a Pending payment booking as paid. Verify any payment separately through the payment system you actually use.
Dlopo Subscription Billing Is Separate
The Stripe pages under Account & Billing manage the workspace’s Dlopo subscription, payment method, and invoices. They do not collect guest payments for booking links.
A connected Stripe customer or subscription does not by itself make guest checkout available.
Use a Safe Alternative
Until guest payment checkout is available, use one of these approaches:
- Use a standard Dlopo booking link and send a separate payment link through a payment provider.
- Require manual approval and confirm the booking only after you verify payment externally.
- Explain the payment process clearly in the booking description.
- Avoid requesting card details through booking questions, notes, email, or the assistant.
Keep payment-card information inside a PCI-compliant payment provider.
Test Before Any Use
If you are evaluating the current payment-required setting:
- Use a non-production booking link.
- Complete the flow as a guest.
- Confirm that the result is Pending payment.
- Verify that no charge or Stripe Checkout Session was created for the guest.
- Do not publish the link as a paid service.
