Booking Reminders and Workflows
Booking reminders and follow-up behavior are built from workspace notification defaults and booking-link controls. Configure the available options, then test the complete guest experience before sharing a link.
Workspace notification defaults
Open Settings → Notifications to review the workspace email preferences:
- Booking Confirmations
- Reschedules and Cancellations
- Product Updates
These preferences affect future delivery. They do not change the status of an existing booking.
Booking-link controls
Open a booking link’s settings and the follow-up or confirmation area. The current controls can include:
- Disable Rescheduling, which removes the guest reschedule action from email or calendar links.
- Hide Notes in Calendar, which hides guest notes in calendar descriptions for privacy.
- Redirect on Booking, which sends a guest to a custom URL after a successful booking.
- A booking-form Custom Questions setting, which controls the information collected before confirmation.
Reminder and confirmation emails follow workspace defaults. Link-level follow-up controls change guest-facing behavior for that link.
What guests receive
For a successful booking, Dlopo can send a confirmation to the guest and host when email delivery is configured. Reschedule and cancellation actions use their corresponding supported notices. The message may include the meeting time, location, notes or responses, and action links such as Reschedule or Cancel.
The exact message and delivery depend on the booking status, email configuration, recipient address, and provider response.
Redirects and parameters
When Redirect on Booking is enabled, enter a valid domain and path in Redirect URL. Pro-only redirect controls can optionally forward parameters such as name, email, and question answers. Treat forwarded values as personal information and only send them to a destination you control.
Test before launch
- Save the booking-link settings.
- Complete a test booking with an accessible email address.
- Confirm the resulting booking status.
- Check confirmation and action links.
- Test cancellation or rescheduling when enabled.
- Verify any redirect destination and forwarded parameters.
Delivery can be delayed, filtered as spam, or skipped when email configuration is unavailable. Check the booking record separately; an email problem does not automatically cancel a confirmed booking.
