Cancel or Reschedule a Booking
Guests can cancel or reschedule a booking from the links in their booking confirmation or calendar invitation when the booking link allows those actions.
Cancel a booking
- Open the booking’s Cancel link.
- Enter the booking email if prompted.
- Review the meeting details.
- Choose the cancellation action.
- Confirm the cancellation.
The booking status changes to cancelled and supported cancellation notices are sent. A cancelled time may become available again after Dlopo reapplies the schedule, notice, buffer, and booking rules.
Reschedule a booking
- Open the booking’s Reschedule link.
- Verify the booking details.
- Choose a new available date and time.
- Submit the required guest details if requested.
- Confirm the replacement time.
Dlopo checks current availability again. The new time must pass the schedule, duration, minimum notice, booking window, buffer, and capacity rules. The booking context is preserved where supported, but the replacement time is not guaranteed until confirmation succeeds.
When rescheduling is unavailable
The host can enable Disable Rescheduling on the booking link. When it is enabled, Dlopo does not offer the reschedule action from email or calendar links. The guest can still use the cancellation path when it is available.
A link may also have no valid replacement slots because availability changed after the original booking. In that case, review the date, time zone, and current schedule before trying again.
After the change
Check the confirmation message and the booking status. Supported email and calendar records may be updated, but a provider failure does not override the Dlopo booking record. If the action fails, retry from the original link and contact the host if the link remains unavailable.
Guest payments, refunds, and provider-specific records are handled separately from the booking change unless the relevant flow explicitly says otherwise.
